MONA GEHA KENAAN
Honorary President
Mona Geha Kenaan is a long-standing leader in Lebanon’s
civic and humanitarian sectors. Following a meaningful tenure as President of
the Lebanese Food Bank from 2018 to 2026, she recently stepped down from active
leadership, leaving behind a well-respected and stable institution. Her deep
personal devotion to the mission was highly valued by the late founder, Kamal
Sinno.
To recognize her years of service, President Wassim Sinno
and the Board of Directors named her Honorary President during a transition
gathering at the Yarzeh Officers Club. This role ensures her continued guidance
and presence within the LFB family. In addition to her work with the Food Bank,
Mona is an active member of the Rotary Club Beirut Cedars, serves as Chair of
the Scholarship Fundraising Committee at the American University of Beirut
(AUB), and is the Secretary General of the Board of Trustees at Notre Dame
University-Louaize (NDU). Her contributions have been recognized with the AUB
Alumni Association's Daniel Bliss Award and the Lebanese Order of Merit in
2022.
